New build advice
Hi all
So i need to build a new PC, i have a rtx2080ti already. This build will be for gaming only.
I am thinking of using the 9900k CPU, however im not sure which ram and motherboard to
use. Im not interested in lights/bling as the computer will be under the desk.
What is the best, by best i mean most usb c, storage options etc. for a socket 1151 is there?
Over cloaking cpu is ok, cant be bothered with ram etc. just want to plug in and blaze.
I want it fast...
Any recommendation?
thanks
Shayne

Hi Shayne D
If using the 9900k you'll want a z370/z390 motherboard and unfortunately all the ROG boards listed have only one usb-c port. You may have to go x399 if you want more usb-c ports.
G.Skill Trident Z is popular here, if you want ultra fast ram go with 16GB of say 4000MHz - 4266MHz.
If going with 32GB choose a lower frequency of say 3200MHz - 3600MHz.
If you want plug and play go with 3200MHz of either 16GB or 32GB.
