Using a Maximus VI Gene motherboard (BIOS 1603), has anyone been able to install the Nvidia drivers for an RTX video card ?

I installed an RTX 2070 video card on this motherboard running Windows 10.

The PC will boot into Windows 10, but the Microsoft Basic Display Adapter driver is used.

The latest Nvidia driver won't install stating the version of Windows that's running isn't supported.

Is this an issue with a minimum version of Windows 10 ?

I'm trying to install the latest version of Windows 10, but Windows Update keeps reporting an error.
