Rampage VI Corsair DOMINATOR needs 1.42 V to be stable

Hello All,

I am back on here again with my issues :o. So I bought a delidded 7900x and a Gigabyte board recently on fleabay. The gigabyte board got bricked when I tried to change the BIOS on on chip and then, well, its gone for an RMA. I bought a RVIE from amazon(Amazon Warehouse - used nearly new).

My issue: Currently, I need to set 1.42V on my corsair dominator 3000 MHz 64GB with SA and VCCIO all set in auto. The more voltage I supply to the RAM the more stable it seems on Intel Burn Test. Please be aware that I was using these RAM chips on my Rampage V Extreme with 5960x which seemed to suffer from IMC degrdation. Is my memory failing or is it the IMC in the 7900x and 5960x which is degrading?

The DOMINATOR is XMP rated at 15-17-17-35-1T at 1.35 V

Thanks,
G.

Hello Arne,

VCCSA is in auto.

This is a Corsair Dominator 3000 MHz 64 GB as a single kit. Yes.

Thanks,
G.

OK, but when you go into BIOS, what is the reading for VCCSA...the actual voltage the board is setting...you could try tuning that a bit

What vintage is the kit...I ask because kits are tailored somewhat to the platform they came out with...

The kit was bought at the time of my 5960x (you know that story) , though it is on the QVL for the Ramage vi Extreme.

not upped the Voltage as off yet, my CPU seems slow on benchmark as well as using windows

My version of the RAM is v 5.19. It was a warranty replacement from corsair, though personally I dont think that my old set (which was 4.19) had any issues.
