Maximus IX code not posting after a windows update

    Hello everyone

Forgive me for a lengthy post but I am hoping someone here can assist me. I built my pc over a year ago and everything was running fine. I usually leave my pc running however couple of weeks ago i noticed it was turned off, so when i turned it one it would boot up but then crash and shut down, i noticed my EVGA AIO cpu cooler fans werent spinning, so I RMA it and received a new one, I cleaned my cpu and put the new AIO on. booted the pc and everything was fine, then I decided to reboot the pc because my windows had installed some updates and that's where things went wrong. The motherboard wouldn't post, (no asus logo) just a blank screen, I did the basic troubleshooting like removed the video cards plugged in mobo, removed mem sticks, reset CMOS, removed the AIO and reseated the cpu, but to no avail. I am at a loss to figure out whats wrong with this build. The PC is not overclocked.

Also, initially it was in constant boot loop, but once i removed and put the components back not it turns on tries to post and then shuts off, however the RGB lighs stay on.

    My list of components

    Asus Maximus IX Code
    Intel I7 7700K
EVGA CLC 240 Liquid / Water CPU Cooler
    GSkill Trident Z 8GBx4
    Corsair RM750i
    MSI Radeon vega64
    Powercolor Radeon Vega64
    Samsung 960 evo nvme.

Just an update, I removed everything except the cpu & AIO and put them back in. It is still not posting but now the Q-Code is 13 then turns to 00 and shuts off. could it be a bad CPU?

Look up BIOS Flashback...should be in your manual somewhere...

You can do it with only PSU connected...

Please ignore the preivous statement, I was able to perform a usb bios flash following the directions in the user manual. It made no impact, I am still either at code 30 or if i hit the cmos reset button, code 13. I am at my wits end. Not sure where to go from here.

Edit: not sure if it matters, but in both cases the following code is 00 before it shuts down, I looked at that code and it says it's not in use, figured I would share anyways. Thanks

Not really sure what to suggest apart from stripping the system down and substituting parts if that's possible. Can you get another CPU to test in the board...local PC shop etc.
    Different PSU?

Maybe remove battery from board and remove power and leave it for a few hours

I am going to swap out the PSU, however I am leaning towards a dead CPU, because all signs points to it. I will post an update once I figure it out. Thanks for the help.
