Hi,
I wonder if the fact that my F4-3600C16Q-32GTZKK isn't on ASUS QVL may be the reason of it's "incompatibility" with newer BIOS?
I have possibility to return it back and get new RAM that is on ASUS QVL (for example F4-3600C17Q-32GTZ).
What do you think? Does RGB/non-RGB matter in terms of stability at high freq?
Pls find attached details of my F4-3600C16Q-32GTZKK.Last edited by cniedzi; 04-02-2019 at 10:15 AM.

@Phillyflyer
May I have few questions concerning your set from your footer?
1. When OC why did you choose higher idle CPU voltage and LLC of 6 instead of lower CPU voltage and higher value of LLC (for example 1.3V and LLC 7-8)?
2. What CPU temps you have @5.2GHz with your voltage?
3. What PRIME 95 (nonAVX/AVX) you used for stability testing? Did you tried Real Bench (I'm interesting in temps you've got)? @5GHz with RealBench I'm hitting 100C on Noctua NH-D15S with 2 fans.
4. What settings you have for RAM OC?
regards

So, new F4-3866C18Q-32GTZR has arrived
The first remark - it is for sure not plug and play...
On 0602 I was not able to set XMP profile, I had to set DRAM params manually.
On 0903 I've set XMP profile but I had to set Mode 2 and VCCIO=1.25V, System Agent=1.25V. 0903 looks promising, but I have to do more tests.
PS. Do you know how to turn off thise beautiful RGB RAM lighting? When I set AURA to off or stealh in BIOS nothing happens with my RAM lights... still shining
PS.2 This memory is a killerLast edited by cniedzi; 04-08-2019 at 10:15 PM.

I am not sure you can turn off ram lighting looking at lighting program Aura by asus it has a off but it does not turn it off when I hit apply , in fact it turns nothing off all my stuff stayed the same lol. This is one of the few asus program I still allow on my pc and it only half works lol. Gskill does have its own program but I have no idea what its like...

At this point of time I have given up all other Bios and will stay on 0602 as it was just a huge pain to get my ram set correct on 4266 xmp on every bios was a huge fail.
