Black Screen with Sound (MAD MAX 2015) Need Help!!!
Hi everyone,
I've been having this terribly annoying issue
So here it is.
Basically, on some games, once I launch them I can play it like 5 - 10m or some times 40secd, then i get a black screen but the game itself is running.
I know that because there is always sound and I can interact with the game interface
(blindly, but if I get my mouse on a button on the game interface then I can click it),
but everything is black! Just sound!.
The thing is, i can play new games like
Far Cry New Down
Just Cause 4
Metro Exodus
Devil May Cry 5, Without any issues.
This happens for some games not all of them.
Here are some of the games,
affected by this issue:
Mad Max
Soma
Saints Row 4
Dirt 3
I HAVE DONE ALL THE THING GOOGLE SAID.
I HAVE INSTALL NEW WINDOWS 10
AND UPDATE ALL DRIVERS CHIPSET GPU DRIVERS EVERYTHING...
AND I HAVE BOUGH CORSAIR 750W PSU.
STILL NOT FIX..
MY PC
AMD RYZEN 7 2700X
ASUS X470-F Gaming
CORSAIR VENGEANCE LED 8GB x 4 (32GB)
ASUS GTX 960 4GB OC Edition
I have try removing Rams.
Left only 8GB and try 16GB Nothing works.
I have try Default bios oc and none oc.
Nothing works at all.
Can't say this is game issues cause Mad Max is 1.03.0 finale version updated.
Please guys if You know what is causing this help me._ASUS ROG STRIX_

You might have to mention the problem on Steam or check their website cause there might be a fix for the game files.

I try that i search everywhere, and i have install mad max on Steam. This is causing by CPU now i know. Cause i have tryed everything...
New games work just fine.
Some old games goes balck screen.
So i think it maybe cause bt 8Core CPU or i don't know what is going on with CPU. I know for sure it is CPU cause i jave replace thermal for GPUZ And i have change rams. And i have test software hardware boath. I don't have any cpu to test so i cover all but Ryzen 7 2700x cpu. I think this ia CPU problem.
Maybe it can be fixed in Mobo bios. But i don't know how.
Any suggestions?_ASUS ROG STRIX_

Yes that's true that some old games don't work but Mad Max is 2015 so there must be a fix.

Sounds dead, but did you mine any coins on that GPU by any chance?

No i didn't do that.
I bough this one in 2015 September.
but I don't do gaming 24/7 i play 1 or 2 game for month.
Temp like under 60c
And I have OC almost year. I think that's what kills it
I have OC 113Mhz GPU clock,
190Mhz on Memory clock
voltage same as Default i didn't touch voltage.
and i have configured Fan speed by
50c-60s, 60c-60s, 70c-70s, 80c-80s
and it's never go higher then 65C
most of the time its 59, 60c.
Is there anyway to fix this?
I can do anything pc is fine, but can't plan game when open it
It goes balck._ASUS ROG STRIX_

Your best options are to back up your stuff and RMA your laptop if you still have the warranty.
