Rampage IV Extreme & Windows 10 Pro

I am contemplating installing Windows 10 Pro on my Rampage IV Extreme based system.

When I went to download motherboard drivers from Asus' web site I noticed that there are hardly any drivers there. Is this normal, as compared to the ton of drivers for Windows 7 Pro and this motherboard? Does Windows 10 have drivers for the plethora of hardware out there so that it will function normally?

Thank you!
Bill

The windows 10 "driver pack" for R4BE as this is very close to RIVE. The bios is for R4BE so don't flash with it. If you need a bios update you can get it here: https://onedrive.live.com/?authkey=%21AHeT82KI488djfU&id=8958E7AE29E4BA6C%2110181&cid=8958E7AE29E4BA... complements of boltsforbreakfast. Also recommend not using the ASMedia USB3 drivers and instead just use the ones installed with windows 10.

In some cases you can get newer driver versions from station-drivers.com but you will want to test these individually as not all new versions are stable with the X79 boards.

I have Windows 10 Pro on my RIVE.

Offical drivers don't work properly, Alsuite don't work properly.

You need to manually update Asmedia drivers (device manager) to get them working. I can't get the Bluetooth working.

I can say that those drivers are optimized for Windows 10. So, we have to optimize them manually.
