G55VW - Win10, ATK Process Very High CPU Usage

Just a follow up to an earlier post I made on upgrading G55 from Win7 to Win10. The computer is working okay but when booting up the process to load the Asus function keys jumps to 20% cpu and stays there. Takes about 5 to 10 minutes for the keys to load, but usage does not go down afterward. I am using 0060 version of ATK file. I had to use that to get the keypad to work correctly.

Just an FYI, but any ideas to solve would be good. Killing the process does not affect anything else, but obviously the key functions don't load.

How much memory is in the laptop? More would be better and possibly help the ATK package load quicker.

I suggest you visit this German website and download a copy of the support DVD for the G55VW and apply all the original Win 8 drivers and programs. Then allow Windows 10 to upgrade itself.

Thanks for the reply. Unit has 12gb of ram, but memory isn't the issue, its cpu with constant 18 - 20% for just this one process (Hcontrol). I'll take a look at the linked site.
