ASUS Rog G752VS Keyboard loses function until any usb device is plugged/unplugged
I've tried searching for this but didn't find anything.
My built in keyboard works the vast majority of the time but once in a while, it will just stop working. I use a USB mouse and it continues working. My usb headphones continue working.
If I unplug the mouse, the keyboard starts working again.
If I unplug my usb headphones, the keyboard starts working again.
If I plug in an entirely new usb device in an unused slot, the keyboard starts working again.
It seems like any sort of usb plug/replug will cause it to work again just fine. Then it will continue working for between 10 minutes and a few hours, before it happens again.
Using the September 14th, 2018 USB drivers from Microsoft.
Any ideas at all? It's driving me crazy.

I have the same problem on my G752VSK. I use USB external mouse and keyboard.
Like you, I simply toggle a USB cable in and out and everything is fine. I don't find this problem extreme enough to try and find a solution.
Good Luck
