Which is the most stable bios for xi hero?

Thanks a lot. Could you give me the name from the forum who helped you with the oc. I just need some suggestion to set my bios properly. I am kind of confused that what i can leave auto and what i can set manual. I dont want to "dig" too much into my bios because i am afraid i will mess up something.

It was @Phillyflyer who helped me he is the man without him my ram would not be at its correct speeds . You don't need to set much in bios the settings I gave you in boot area are the norm.

Just to let you know I just got told not to move to the new bios not sure what went on but for now I am staying on bios 602

Thanks. I contacted already Philliflyer about the OC and also i downgraded my bios to let see how the results will be. So I am on 602 as well. But so far you were right. Looks like it is more stable on my XI Hero

Using 0602, main reason is the uCode for the 8700K is 96h and thats what Intel say is the updated code. All other versions of the bios change this code to something completely different, ie series 9 processors . I have tried all of the bios updates and 0602 is far the best for my setup.

What ever the reason is for all other bios acting up it all comes down to old bios 602 is still the best bios it would seem. Like you I also tried many different bios and not one of them did I have a happy PC with lol. She was not happy until I put her on Bios 0602 and it was only then Philliflyer and I got some place pulling my correct ram speeds out. I have never done a OC yet to my I9 - 9900K but my whole rig is way more happy on 0602. Old bios is not a bad thing in my mind as long as its stable and bios 602 seems very stable for many of us.

Nope still on 0602 most stable :] 0903 is acting up for some so decided not to even go down its road :]

As of today, Sept 2, 2019, the latest Bios is the 1105.
