Next year should be something to upgrade to with DDR5 and PCi-e 4.0 coming, Intel next chipset should bring higher cores counts to there HEDT platform.

Amazing how well this clocks under water! I was not expecting it but most probably the huge surface area of the CPU plays a big part in thermal transfer along with the fact that some serious binning must be going for these CPUs.

From reviews you can overclock on a basic loop up to around 4.7Ghz heat only becomes a issue in a basic loop after water temps warm up, this is also pointed out about LN2
On liquid nitrogen, these things really fly. It really shows you how thermals are limiting us. To give you an idea, at around -100c the chip can run 5.2 GHz at the same voltages I use for a 4.8 GHz overclock on air.
