I have 2 PSUs plugged into the MB per the manual specifications. Each PSU also powers one GPU. Then there are 3x additional 6 pin power plugs, 2x 1 each by the 2 8 pins, and then 1x down by the back of the PCIe slots. Obviously the 2x by the 8 pins each PSU powers the one where its corresponding 8 pins are. The one down by the PCIe slots is powered by the secondary PSU. When I get off work today I'll check to see but I am pretty sure both PSUs shutdown together fine. Another person mentioned the Aquantia 10Gbps chip possibly causing it so I will disable that too and try it. But I need that chip. I have a 10Gbps network and I am using all 48 of my lanes so I can't add an Intel 10Gbps adapter even though I do have one. Another thing I will try is having both GPUs powered by the secondary PSU only.

I couldn't get the 2 Samsungs and 2 Intels in 2 different RAID 0 arrays on different VMD controllers with 2 x16 GPUs.

Had a weird scenario occur when copying a large amount of data off the Samsung RAID to a backup server while using a VM off the Intel RAID. The copy hung. I have done this in the past with the single Samsung RAID w/o the second Intel RAID on the same VMD controller and it worked fine. So it looks like have 2 RAID 0 arrays on the same VMD controller isn't working very well unfortunately. I am going to go back to my original setup with the single Samsung RAID 0 array. I also noticed copying files recently with both RAID arrays having an issue starting the copying it was very slow to start the copy even for small files.

Switched it to an Intel T551 10Gb and it went away.
Thank you, you pointed me in the correct direction. The fix is easy go into the Device Manager, right click the Aquantia 10 Gbs NIC and select properties. Then select the Power Management tab and turn both check boxes off. Now the second checkbox after a reboot/shutdown startup looks checked (its greyed out) but it doesn't restart the PC after a shutdown anymore

R6E memories, can't decide if I liked these or not but value wise not worth it IMO.

    Glad to be of help.

Currently running a Hyper X16 V2 on my Apex with 4 OS drives on it. Win 10 1809, 1903 Insider, Linux, Mac in the works. Runs well.
Previously had 4 960 Pro 2TB on it though now they are on the Dimm.2 cards.

Any advice on OCing would be much appreciated. I was able to get a stable 4.5 on all Cores as far as the CPU goes and all CPU tests I ran. But any memory tests failed every time causing an instant failure pretty much. This is when I do not have XMP on at all. And The memory w/o the CPU OC or with the BIOS extreme profile OC passes all tests. So I am baffled. I really could use any help here please. I even tried bumping the voltage on the memory even though I do not have XMP on but no dice. My memory is G.SKILL TridentZ RGB Series 128GB (8 x 16GB) 288-Pin DDR4 SDRAM DDR4 3466 (PC4 27700) Intel X299 Platform Desktop Memory. Now I know I could probably pull memory and get it to work but I would like a stable OC to run 24x7 with the 128GB of memory. This has been extremely frustrating. I thought this chip was supposed to have a stronger memory controller to handle denser and faster memory.

What is your memory test? If you are merely overclocking cpu it really is more likely cpu core is unstable

Well I usually run the Intel XTU memory test first then if it passes I run the WIndows Memory Diagnostic because it is fully comprehensive. I am going to try the Windows Memory Diagnostics anyway and see. But the intel XTU memory tests is crashing right away. But the Intel Processor Diagnostics, the Intel XTU CPU, Intel XTU Benchmark, Cinebench 15, 3D Mark, Heaven 4 all pass. And I can run my Hyper-V VMs fine so far too. Something is off I am trying to discern what it is. The whole thing shuts down instantly when I run the Intel XTU memory test as soon as it kicks off. My temps are excellent, lows 80s are the highest. I opened things up so there is no throttling. I watched a few videos that others have done but there isn't much out there on this chip and MB. I am leaning towards the memory causing the issue even though I am not OCing it. I am going to take out all but 2 sticks and see what happens. I guess I can do individual core tests too but with 28 that's gonna take a while.
