Games should be using your GPU more than your CPU. As stated, this is normal.

I didn't read everyone's responses on this one but have you looked into a Vertical CPU mounting kit. From what I could tell that might be an option if your case allows different configuration of the card slots.. all you have is a GPU it looks like.
