Happens to me a lot. Don't know why they don't take better care when uploading software. ???

The one they uploaded for the RE6 doesn't install even though it says "Software installed" with a dialog and that's all it shows. I manually copied the files in and it uses the new version though. The install is under the chipset section:

So I went to Intel's site to get the official version, same version ASUS is just now putting out, they put it out back in 6/4/2018:
https://downloadcenter.intel.com/download/26103/Intel-Turbo-Boost-Max-Technology-3-0

It installed properly for me too.
