I hate to say that I completely agree with the OP. The mouse would
already be a very expensive mouse if it worked properly. Given
that both the mouse and ROG Armoury do not work properly, it
is absurd Asus released and marketed the Spatha.
I used to trust ASUS as a reliable brand. Big mistake, never again.
Terrible product, terrible support.
This whole experience with the mouse has been an absolute joke,
and no one seems to care in addressing the multitude of issues that
still exist.
I mean Armoury barely works as it is, settings change on their own
the application crashes on its own for no reason, stops working etc. There
seems to be some arcane way of fixing things according to ASUS, but nothing
has worked for me and the support people put the blame on you (i.e. YOU didn't
follow the arcane formula well).
The mouse I have suffers from battery drain when PC is off, you need to reconnect the mouse dock
when you turn on the PC for the mouse to work many times, and so on. Nothing
in this has worked decently or as intended, from hardware, firmware and software.
Never buying anything from Asus again. They need to learn that they can't be stealing our
hard-earned money like that.
Funny thing is the mouse and Armoury used to work somewhat better. My big fault was that
I didn't return the mouse in the 14day period. I was thinking "Oh well, the problems will get sorted out
in time" and they weren't sorted out. If anything, Armoury is worst than it's ever been right now.
Shame on you Asus.
