Hello everyone,

I have an ASUS ROG MAXIMUS XI HERO (WI-FI) motherboard and I originally had my ASUS ROG Strix GeForce RTX 2060 Overclocked Triple-Fan 6GB GDDR6 PCIe in my first slot but didn't like how much of the motherboard and it's LEDs that it hid, so i decided to move it down to the 2nd slot(there's 3). This has caused it to run in 8x mode instead of 16x. But this hasn't degraded my gaming in any noticeable ways and everywhere I've researched this has basically said its a 1% difference. So I'm curious about everyone else's opinions on the matter and I'm wondering if anyone else has gone through the same internal debate that I am right now over 1% improvement vs aesthetics lol.
