Hi,

Just unpacked my new motherboard and I can see what looks like a bent pin on the socket. Not by much but enough to make me worried. I'm about to install a custom water cooling loop and rather not disassemble everything upon first boot-up. Would the BIOS/POST pickup any issues immediately? I'm thinking if I start the system without cooling - just booting to BIOS, or will that fry the CPU?

do you think contact will not happen?
I would have a start but fixing the waterblock on the CPU without tube to add thermal inertia.

i would imedietly send it back within the return period.

yeah the worse part is bend pins are not part of warranty, so ether u fix it yourself or you will be 600 bucks short..
