Check your motherboard QVL list for memory.

Depends on CAS Latency and frequency of RAM. And CPU

I know it's heresy, but I have been running two G.Skill 4x8GB 3600c16 kits on my Omega/9900X rig. 4000c16 was very easy, and a very stable 4200c17 took a bit of tweaking, but has been very reliable and issue free. the 4200c17 settings are in the attached pics. Yes, I have the kits at 1.5V vdimm, for about a month now.

I have same kit and can make +4000mhz on it. I think any "better" kit is waste of money.

I currently have the GSKILL Royal Z 3200mhz CL14 (F4-3200C14Q-32GTRS) it's super fast!

The memory can get overclocked to 17-17-17-37 , 4000mhz @ 1.45V

You can always check and compare using Ram Latency Calculator to see what's the best option for you, Link Below:

Hey,

I'm looking for some 32GB/64GB memory (G.Skill Trident Z RGB) for my X299 ROG Rampage Omega. I don't want to manually configure voltages and latency etc.. and will be happy with just using ASUS EZ Tuning Wizard to do basic OC for me. I have an Intel i9 9900X. This would be for 1440p high-end gaming.

What kits do you recommend?

Thanks,
Beau*

According to some of the previous posts, I would go with a non rgb 3600CL16 kit, or even two kits, since they are working nicely on the Asus Omega.

For example:

F4-3600C16Q-32GTZKK

The 3200CL14 are traditionally a good option too. But I like to see some GSAT or HCI captures to completely believe it, like jpmboy's.
Asus x670e Hero, 7950x, TG 7000, Master 4090, 970 PRO, 860 EVO, Intel 750,
SN850, SN750, 840 Pro, 2xSkyhawk 4TB, Pioneer S12U
EVGA T2 1600, Silverstone TJ11, Custom LC, Acer Predator x35, Philips OLED

Thanks for the reply!

Looking at the QVL list for this board and what resellers are currently selling, I went with F4-3466C16Q-32GTZR most of the other kits are sold out or don’t sell anymore. Hopefully this will do the job just fine.
