When I try to play BF3 the screen flashes like crazy and is impossible to play. I have the latest drivers. I have the latest updates. I have had this problem for a long time. What gives?

Just to make sure your video card is not overheating try running Furmark for 10 minutes or so. If you start seeing artifacts then that maybe the problem.
sorry guys i dont know how usefull my comment will be, but i have heard the exact same issues with other guys with 560 ti's... and i think it had something to do with them either being factory overclocked, or running not enough volts or to much volts, i just dont remember, it was over at geforce dot com forums, IIRC dropping the OC would fix it, or increasing the volts would fix it.
I agree that you have to check carefully at what volt they are running as that can be the deciding factor on this side. There are some who say that they are getting over clocked a little too much that they are not able to function and work at a comfortable state already.
Or trying to run Furmark for a couple of minutes will surely be very helpful here, to determine possible causes of it.
Sorry for the delay. Some guys would under clock their GPUs and that worked for them. Seemed to have too much factory on it. Mine would run with one card but not two. Seemed to have worked itself out. I get better play at stock settings than OCing. FutureMark ran just fine with one or two cards. Also 3dMark11 got a decent score and ran fine with extended tests.

try and speed up your fans ( use msi afterburned ) or the smart doctor ( if you have it ( i prefer afterburner ) ) . on the afterburner i get up the temp and how mutch i use of each card on to my G19 kb display. i have 2 560ti top runing in sli ( both factory oc. ) and i have no problem whit heat or flickering.
