    6700k 14 degrees temperature diferences.

    Hy, i have a schynte mugen 5 rev. b and the first core is by 14 degrees celsius hotter then the third. I did like 5 times remounting the cooler and still the same temperature. What it could be? My cpu is overlcoked at 4.5 ghz and the motherboard is asus maximus viii hero

    i had had the same problem with one of my builds with the same mobo and an i7 6700 . one of the cores ran at about 60C while the rest were around 25C on idle. I think it was the luck of the silicone draw. I was going t o delid it in case there was a spot on the silicone that had little to no thermal compound but a friend needed the same type of CPU so i gave it it him
