    Failed builds

I recently have had some failed builds. I think putting the processor into the motherboard at an angle is the problem. Should I just drop in the i9 processor into the 2666 socket.

When the CPU retention bracket is open you should be able to lower the CPU directly into the socket. Did you check for bent pins after your issues?

Thank you xeromist for your reply. I sent both Asus Omegas back to Amazon for a refund-----so yes I checked the pins in the sockets. Maybe the boards or the processor were bad.
