Hi, I tried to update bios and now the mb not posts. Try to restore bios with usb key but cannot. Pressed the flashback button and hold for 3 seconds. It will start flashing with a blue light than nothing happen, the light stays on steady. tried more usb keys with fat32 and bios renamer.

CPU is a Ryzen 2700X that worked well till the bios update with v 2304.

Is mb broken?? Tried to remove battery for many minutes but nothing.....

Hi lorenkos 🙂 Can you access your Bios?
If so have you tried updating Bios from within Bios using the EZ Flash 3 utility and not as you have done via the rear IO panel.

I would check you have correct flash file on USB stick.

I would check it is correctly named.

As long as it is correct file, correctly renamed, placed not within a directory on USB and USB stick is FAT32, flashback should work regardless if CPU/RAM/GPU, etc has issue.

"Flashback" is a self-contained SPI programmer built onto the motherboard.

Nothing, formatted new usb with FAT32, renamed bios 2304 to C7H.CAP, led lit 3 times then usb key led blinks 0.5 secs and no more... bios led on mb always on after 3 blinks.
Very frustrated

Did you place USB stick in correct port? needs to be in rear IO marked BIOS.

As Rolda said you are using ASUS ROG Crosshair VI Hero. Get correct file from link below, rename to C6H.CAP and use port as in your photo.

Hi, your motherboard is Crosshair VI not VII.
You must flash the correct bios.
