    Since we're still part of the EU; their consumers are offered a two-year guarantee in which sellers must repair or replace a faulty or not-fit-for-purpose item.
    However our UK law for electronic goods says:

    If the fault occurs after six months, the consumer has to prove that the problem was down to a fault or issue at the manufacturer, as opposed to wear and tear or misuse. In accordance with a law known as the Statutes of Limitations, consumers have this right for six years in England and for five years in Scotland
    What gets me here is this, IF the UK law suggests we have six oo five years warranty and the manufacturer only offers says three.
    Who do we goto for the period after the manufacturer ends?

    By the way, IF you buy something from Amazon.. and it goes faulty within the first 12 months, you should definitely contact Amazon. They're REALLY GOOD with their customers.. They'll probably offer you a refund for the return of your faulty product and you'll might even get free return. Depending on your system's refresh cycle, you might end up having no suitable motherboard for your system - something you might like to think about...
