RGB Fusion can control RAM on my Asus Z390-E? Que?

Just curious. Thought that would be impossible.
Just bought and installed the Gigabyte Aorus extreme 2080.
Installed RGB Fusion.
And the software detects and let me control my Trident G.skill Royal ram, even though it sits on an Asus Z390-E gaming mobo.
Shouldnt that be impossibe?
Anyone else with this or similar experiences?

That's a thing. I can also control Corsair Vengeance PRO RGB sticks with Gigabyte Fusion on my Asus board. The ram came out almost a year ago and absolutely no support from Asus. The state of Asus RGB software is frankly pathetic. I know what my next board will be.

Same here. Not sure if it will be Gigabyte or MSI. But not Asus for sure.
