I have a new build in the works and I'm using a ROG Rampage VI Extreme and all I am left needing is storage plus a few odds and ends like hard tubing, ball valve, fill port, fan splitters and maybe the odd fitting here and there. I've been reading about populated dimm #2 slots not being recognized in bios is the any SSD I should shy away from or is any of the Samsung NVMe compatible?

I may need a fan controller and a rgb hub and one more Polaris fan for the rear of the case. The reason I didn't go 2080 ti is because I use an Asus pg349q and it only overclocks to 100Hz and 2080 ti is overkill for a 3440x1440 @ 100Hz. I'd appreciate any suggestions I haven't built an new PC in over 5 years. My Rampage V has been rocking steady that long.
