    Purchasing through Newegg Ebay Store

I just finished a chat with online support about a Maximus Gene VIII board that fried for the 2nd time in 3 years (powers off, resets, powers off permanently).
I RMA'd the board the first time and now 2 years later it has happened again, with 3 months left in my warranty.

I gave the Asus support specialist my *new* serial # of the replacement board and they said it was over 3 years old and no longer warrantied.
I provided them a PDF of the ebay receipt from the Newegg store where I purchased it for $230.00 and they will not accept it. There is no Newegg logo even though it states it is from Newegg store.

This is a huge problem. I purchased this on October 15, 2016 and should have a few more months left on my original warranty.
If this is going to be the case, people should not buy ANY Asus products from Newegg?

    This is a huge problem.
