    I managed to register with my serial number :

    BUT it was with rog zephyrus G GA502 as GA532DU wasn't in the list.


    (Don't tell me Asus will allow me to register if i give a wrong model ?)

    i checked GA5O2 and it gives me GU502 Series okok

    Edit: of course the user understand Nothing with all those wrong tutorials + lack of crucial informations. Too hard to keep the commercial model name or at least to update your tutorials Asus ?

    Totally dispointed with Asus…

    Is it so hard to add the web site adress of the support page of my model in the manuals ?

    a long time agon when you bought a laptop you had more informations..

    What are you complaining about?

    Your laptop is covered with a two year warranty with the store that sold it.

    That store works with ASUS not you.

    Problems with your laptop are worked between you and the store, NOT ASUS.

    Don't like it.....return it to the store....get a refund.

    This is the biggest problem with a laptop without OS.

    You bought a laptop with no OS or software.

    You are having OS and software issues.

    You are at fault here, not ASUS......or even me.

    The way I see it, you got what you paid for.

    my list of complains towards Asus:

    • Firstly PC not devliered with any manual or note to know the support driver page.
    • Secondly, PC not delivered with any manual or note to know the support driver page.
    • Thirdly, wrong tutorials
    • And no any Asus employee to counter any wrong assistance like this was the case in this thread.

    This tutorial is 90% false => Except for the bios and the system informations methods, all the others method you gave are wrong (or obsolete but it's the same)
    With those wrong info, the user is unable to search for a support page in the search area of the top right menu of Asus website.

    Even if you type the model name that the bios or Windows info system gave to you => in my case,
    GU502DU is listed after you type it in the searchbar:

    THEN, when you click you are then on the GA502 support (who is the correct support page)

    which is not GU502DU (the correct model name) or GA532DU (the model name of our model if we follow your wrong tutorial ..)

    How is the user supposed to go to the support page with all those insane wrong and hidden informations (+lack of crucial infos) ?

    It's just unbelievable.

    And then you ask for help and you get people that troll you.

    You are doing great PC Asus for sure but you should really improve the way ppl are guided (not guided actually) towards the good support page, maybe just add a note with the support web page in the laptop box and maybe update your tutorials.

    Well, if you have followed my profile, you will see I have many forum posts on many subjects.

    I never questioned what ASUS model you had, you identified it in the title of your forum post I know when I put in your model in the ASUS Download Center (ASUS ROG Zephyrus G GA532DU-AL005 or ASUS ROG Zephyrus G GA532DU) a like model is not listed (GA532DU). Then when you were unable to register your laptop using your serial number, I figured ASUS had not placed a support page for your model. I have already alerted ASUS personnel as to this problem.

    For ASUS model identification I prefer to use the DirectX Diagnostic Tool (dxdiag.exe) method.

    I posted my DirectX Diagnostic Tool example below:

    Do you have a problem with posting your DirectX Diagnostic Tool front page?

    Have you registered your laptop with ASUS??
