HELP RAM TIMING 3000MHz
i7 6700k 4.6GHz 1.350V
ASUS Z170 DELUXE
32GB 4X8GB CMR32GX4M4C3466C16 run with 3000MHz 1.300v 15-16-16-39 2T run Stressapp test for 1 hour with no error
this timing too loose?

Its like saying, is the earth too round?
that's normal timings for memory kits in that XMP frequency range
if it feels good for you, and everything is working great.... go for it
its always going to be people in here claming that 9-27-4-21-0T would be better, so
listen to your heart not to others, good luckLast edited by Rockford; 07-10-2019 at 04:25 PM.

Dont forget to save a default profile in bios with your stable settings, so you have a quick and safe return ))

You should be able to do 1t timings. I would keep your old setting but put to 1t and see how it goes. If it doesnt pass try bumping voltage to 1.38. Have you adjusted any secondary timings?

Thank you for responding. I am very happy
i try :
3000 15-15-15-39 1T 1,390v cant boot.
3000 15-15-15-39 1T 1,400v cant boot.
3000 16-18-18-36 1T 1,400v cant boot.
-----------------------------------------------------------
I only change the primary timings, because it doesn't understand for the 2nd timing
what else should I do?
wi 2T i can run 3000 14-15-15-35 1.300v.
with 1T will it be better?

1t is faster but realistically you wont see a large difference. It might not work due to the processor or some odd secondary timings that the board sets on it's own. If you aren't familiar with secondary timings, might as well leave at current stable settings.

Hi pegadroid
In the bios on the AI Tweaker page try setting:
Dram Frequency - 3000MHz
Dram voltage 1.40v - 1.45v
CPU VCCIO voltage - 1.25v
CPU System Agent voltage - 1.25v
Primary timings: 15-15-15-35-2T
If it boots and is stable try 1T, it should be able to do it.
I have the Maximus IX code and 7700k, with G.Skill Trident Z I can boot at 4000MHz with 15-15-15-36-2T timings but is not fully stable, have settled on 4000MHz 16-16-16-39-2T.
I have Dram voltage at 1.55v, these are Samsung B-Die which can handle up to 1.80v.
CPU System Agent voltage = VCCSA - 1.320v
CPU VCCIO voltage - 1.31v

All right
I don't fool with the secondary timings, I let those all on auto and set only the primary timings and command rate.
Try raising the Dram voltage to 1.40v, if it doesn't boot try Dram voltage at 1.45v.
If that doesn't work set:
Dram Frequency - 3000MHz
Dram voltage 1.45v
CPU VCCIO voltage - 1.275v
CPU System Agent voltage - 1.30v
Primary timings: 15-15-15-35-1T.
1T as you can tell is putting more strain on the cpu's IMC so you either need to stick with 2T or up the voltages or loosen timings to get 1T stable.
