    Nvidia or AMD for next GPU to match ROG Strix XG32VQ

    Hi folks I bought a XG32VQ several months ago, and until then have been on 1080p for several years, and at 1440p I want to upgrade GPU. Currently on r9 290.

    I know this sounds stupid to some so apologies in advance.

    I want to get the RTX2080ti. Will freesync work well with this monitor or should I just wait a bit get the 5700XT? I don't want to change monitor as it's not an available option. I don't care about ray tracing, I want to get a card that will let me game for the next 2 years minimum. Usually play bf4, pubg, metro etc.

    Good Question. I'm running an RTX2070 with a 1080p 60hz monitor and would like to upgrade to the XG32VQ. I'd also like to know if the freesync would work with this card.
