When I get home tonight I will run another Time Spy to show you. I have a GTX 1080 (not a 2080 like you have) and I had 32GB of memory at the time when I got my score to 9100 and was running the 32GB at 3733Mhz with CL14 timings.
I downgrade to 16GB and was able to get the 4400Mhz with CL18 timings and the big boost in score.

Interesting. My 3700X has a higher score than 3800X without any overclock or PBO. Just autoboost.

I am running a 2700x with Flare X 3200 ram.
After updating to the latest bios my system always shuts off on a restart.
Back to 2304 for me.

I have one 16 GB kit.
I used DOCP to set ram timings like in every previous bios.
When I do a restart the PC acts like it wants to restart, gives a POST screen, shuts off, then it starts back up and runs as if it seems ok.
Do you have Precision Boost Overdrive enabled? Or just Precision Boost?

I have the CH7, a 2700X and 32GB of Flare X (4x 8GB) and do not see this behaviour on BIOS 2801. BIOS settings are default other than turning on DOCP standard, Performance enhancer L3 and SVM mode.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
After reading your posts about non-issues I went ahead and tried again.
As of now I have Core Performance Boost: off.
Precision Boost OD: off.
CPU Ratio: Auto.
DOCP Standard.
So far it has rebooted fine.
But I don't know why the Processor is still boosting above 4 GHz in Windows. I turned all boosting off.
