Thank you , I am continuing further testing .

I fully believe UEFI 0068 is step in right direction for training process of board.

I do hope next release is at least AGESA ComboPi-AM4 1.0.0.3AB. I have heard Gigabyte have already started upload of AGESA ComboPi-AM4 1.0.0.3ABA for their X370 boards....

Regarding Gigabyte, I just checked, looks like all the boards from B350 to X570 now has AGESA 1.0.0.3AB ...

    Ahh yes AGESA ComboPi-AM4 1.0.0.3AB uploaded , working on AGESA ComboPi-AM4 1.0.0.3ABA , probably be AGESA ComboPi-AM4 1.0.0.3ABBA once released ...

This ZIP has info on 3666MHz using The Stilt's 3466MHz timings, 1:1:1 MEMCLK:FCLK:UCLK, includes settings txt, UEFI screenies of AMD menu I tweaked.

Gonna try some "rinse & repeat" and perhaps try 3733MHz.

Performance Enhancer & Precision Boost Overdrive is back on Extreme Tweaker for Matisse, Memory Presets menu still not back.

I wonder if next bios will have PCIE 4.0 locked down? Asus has already validated PCIE 4.0 support for their boards, but AMD is strongly against it. We'll see how that turns out.

I suspect AMD wins, which will make this bios a gem for M.2 buffs ....

    Moar UEFI 0068 ...

    HW in use:-

    - R5 3600 Batch Code: BF 1922 SUT
    - C7HWIFI
    - F4-3200C14D-GVK
    - Sapphire HD 5850 Toxic 1GB
    - Intel 660P 1TB
    - Cooler Master V650
    - Logitech K400

    Cooling used:-

    - EK Supremacy EVO (Acetal+Copper)
    - Magicool 360 G2 Slim radiator
    - 3x Arctic Cooling P12 PWM
    - 1x Arctic Cooling F12 PWM
    - EK DDC 3.2 PWM

All fans are using a 4 in 1 cable, connected to CHA_FAN2 and powered by molex. The water pump is powered by molex and gains PWM from H_AMP header. All fans/pump run a UEFI based profile, based on water temperature, T_Sensor1 is used.

    SW in use:-

    - W10 Pro x64 1903 fully updated
    - AMD Chipset driver v1.07.07
    - No other drivers, etc used, other SW versions as per screenies

    Positives of UEFI 0068

    - Training process is much improved even if 2 POSTs occurs when settings changed.
    - Precision Boost Overdrive menu on Extreme tweaker.
    - Performance Enhancer is back (not tried it yet).

    Negatives of UEFI 0068

    - Chipset voltage on some C7H is going to ~1.355V on defaults/[Auto], when board in "standby ", voltage is correct to chipset.
    - Scalar change on Precision Boost Overdrive menu on Extreme tweaker does not apply, had to use AMD menu for that.

    Data from using UEFI 0068

Here is ZIP of PBO+150MHz 3666S, settings used txt, PBO scalar set via AMD menu, RT PASS ~1500%, nice average ACB of ~4.34GHz .

Last 6 screenies in this album show performance is ever so slightly better than UEFI 2406 for same settings used. All historical R7 2700X and R5 3600 entries in CB R15/R20 screenies are from UEFI 2406, both CPUs used on C7H, same HW, etc.

Due to being able to use the Precision Boost Overdrive menu on Extreme tweaker, RM exactly matches PPT/TDC/EDC entered there , see WMV in ZIP above. On UEFI 2406 if I changed PBO in AMD menu, regardless of value for EDC, it became 255A in RM.

we just got told to pull (was undergoing validation prior) 1003 ABA version:
"... found that PCIE speed of BXB-C downgraded from gen4 to gen2,..."

so its not surprising that bugs emerge since the source has hidden bugs that only gets unraveled with thorough testing. combine that with trying to get firmwares out in a tight time frame, kinda damn if you do (release f/w quickly) and damn if you dont (dont release fw quickly) situation

Sorry for any harshness, I'm sure you are working hard solving the equation. Thanks for the update on the matter, I'd rather wait and have a great working bios

    +1 to xeizo comment.

I can fully appreciate your situation, thank you for the communication . This is one thing "we" have missed since Elmor departed. Another thing I'd like to add is any chance of a bug form Peter?

On my wanderings across various forums, a big angst is no way for user to report a bug. If they go through normal channels they feel it is lost....

Thanks for the information - much appreciated. Also appreciate that anything you put here for testing is not finished software. Many don't seem to understand this but those of us that do are happy to feed back to you any information that might be helpful. I used to write firmware (many!) years ago - it's complex stuff, to say the least.

It's good to know ASUS is still taking care that other manufacturers really don't! Thanks for your hard work.

One of us should be able to cobble one together - especially if we've already filled them in for ASUS previously - unless they'd prefer something of their own....

I came up with this, which I slightly changed from ASUS's form....
