I won't be trying UEFI 0068 for sure again....
*** edit ***
HW in use:-
- R5 3600 Batch Code: BF 1922 SUT
- C7HWIFI
- F4-3200C14D-GVK
- Sapphire HD 5850 Toxic 1GB
- Intel 660P 1TB
- Cooler Master V650
- Logitech K400
Cooling used:-
- EK Supremacy EVO (Acetal+Copper)
- Magicool 360 G2 Slim radiator
- 3x Arctic Cooling P12 PWM
- 1x Arctic Cooling F12 PWM
- EK DDC 3.2 PWM
All fans are using a 4 in 1 cable, connected to CHA_FAN2 and powered by molex. The water pump is powered by molex and gains PWM from H_AMP header. All fans/pump run a UEFI based profile, based on water temperature, T_Sensor1 is used.Last edited by gupsterg; 07-12-2019 at 06:30 PM.

@gupsterg I agree you should not...we already discussed the main difference in our system is I am still using my 2700X and you have a 3600 which might be the issue...but I am keeping a close eye on my voltages just to be safe.

3700x with Hynix CJR here.
manually setting SB to 1.05v results in 1.087v being repoted by HWinfo.
Im still not able to get PBO+mhz working correctly. TPP, EDC, TDC are ignored and stay at stock settings.
I feel like booting is much faster on this BIOS.
I notice Stilts 'performance boost' profiles have been added however they too do nothing, I like having the dedicated menu for PBO. slow improvements all around but well below par. We pay a premium price for asus motherboards, I would expect Asus to be a cut above their competitors however they only seem 'average' in this space...

Ahh, you are mtrai!? LOL, sorry did not know you used differing username to OCN here.

Hi Shamino -many thanks for posting this - it's nice to see work ongoing on our bios!
I wandered if I could ask you about pcie 4, which the bios currently supports. It's even been tested with NVMe and it works well. We're waiting for tests to be done on the top GPU slot, but it does look promising.
Could you confirm that this functionality will remain now we have it and it works? Surely you don't want the bother of removing the code or disabling it anyway?
I'd also like to make sure you're aware of the problem most of us have in the bios with no mouse working - some have no keyboard. All ports tested. Windows is fine, though I find only front USB3 connector works without the mouse being jerky and unusable. Hopefully this can be fixed soon.
Almost forgot, since 2403 a few of us have had problem with fans not operating when cpu put under load. Reboot seems to fix it. Not sure what causes it yet either.
There are many improvements in this beta - quicker boot/shutdown, beter inter-core latency, extra settings - even for 2xxx CPUs. Keep up the good work!
We're eager - and happy to test any betas that come our way!
Thanks again... Hope our notes are useful.Last edited by bigtop1967; 07-13-2019 at 03:57 PM.

It's not official anyway, nothing new on the download page. Really no reason to use this even if it had worked somewhat ok. Frying the SoC is not ok.
But, it is nice to keep us informed about ongoing work, even if this bios needs a few more touches. And AGESA 1.0.0.3AB+Last edited by xeizo; 07-14-2019 at 08:57 AM.

This post is in no way meant to be derogatory to Shamnio aka Peter Tan.
I had the C6H from launch xeizo, elmor used to post on the OCN thread beta UEFI, a lot of those byte for byte became official. So TBH the difference between beta/official isn't much IMO.
IMO official is only bug free until the bug is found, then that official sorta is akin to a beta.
Any how, only once did we receive a UEFI where voltage control did not occur probably, but never did we receive a UEFI that gave excessive voltage at defaults and elmor's reaction time to remove the link for UEFI which had voltage control issue was quick, here we've had 0 reaction so far in ~2 days.
Below is screenie of UEFIs, I have used on C6H and excludes any custom ones by The Stilt. Many of which many were "unoffically" released on OCN ~upto 1mth prior to becoming "official".

look its a fast pretest bios for those who wanna tweak and try
perhaps i should state that
if i need to test every possible config , i wont be able to put them up here.
if this is the case i will probably not post any bioses since these need to go thru thorough testing
