After reading your posts about non-issues I went ahead and tried again.
As of now I have Core Performance Boost: off.
    Precision Boost OD: off.
    CPU Ratio: Auto.
    DOCP Standard.

So far it has rebooted fine.
But I don't know why the Processor is still boosting above 4 GHz in Windows. I turned all boosting off.
Well I take it back, it wants to turn off every boot, even a cold boot.
BIOS is set up plain jane.

Just done a number of restarts, everything ok here, all bios defaults except for docp set to run my ram at 3200mhz, performance enhancer lvl 1 and I also adjusted the ddr4 boot voltage to match ddr4 voltage of 1.350

Guys since 26XX bios i have a weird behavior. I set my settings, it boot then if i shutdown the PC and reboot it the next day it won't boot.
I haven't tried 27XX bios, went straight to 2801, same thing, went back to 2501, same thing.

D8 error, and i haven't set any password in the bios, each time i have to reset bios (twice), then i load my setup from bios and it works. Everyday !

    I have Ryzen 2600 and G Skill 3200 CL 14 32 Gb.
CPU at 3.0 or 4.0 on all cores and ram at 2933 or 3200 mhz produce this same behavior.

    Hey Guys,

did someone know if we get a "good" update soon ?`

With the 2801 BIOS for the C7H i am not more able to easily OC my RAM ... ok, not a big deal.

BUT - everytime when i change the Setting from Advanded/Onboard/RGB Lights "OFF" if system is in sleep - it changed it back to "ON"

everything else is able to change and save it.
only RGB Lightning ... i can´t turn it off .. only when i switch off the power

I noticed that whenever the BIOS has a hard time booting up (meaning it beeps or crashes) that some of its settings get reset. For example UCLK gets reset to AUTO whenever it happens. Perhaps that is what is happening with your RGS settings.

I posted earlier that I got 4400Mhz stables on my memory. I did but occasionally the motherboard would complain on boot up even though it was stable. I downgraded it to 4333Mhz and that issue went away (I also adjusted the timings).

    Back to 2304 for me.
    Same here,

    Using Bios 2304 on a CH7 and a 2700X.

Have tried latest bios 2801 and on a cold boot system shuts down, restarts and runs normal.

24XX has mouse issues and anything after that bios wise has the above issue, a restart on cold boot.

2304 and prior bioses do not have this issue.

I see that some have similar problems and some don't..

    Any ideas guy's?

    @Lothos

no no ... i have this every time.
Also with a clean boot up and down.

this little as****e don´t save this ONE setting. i don´t know why.

That is my third time that i have a Asus Board in my life.
And the second time i have "issue chains" to have to visit a forum.

that is sooo sad for such a big label.

Angry Asus software is broken in general.

Also 2700X user here, everything above 2406 is in some ways broken for me, one of the versions constantly bluescreened, now on 2406, I can live without the mouse. At this point, I think it either works or we have to live with that and there is no changing it until the BIOS is fixed.

This is somewhat similar to my experience with the Aura software (or Asus software in general like AI Suite and Asus Updater causing bluescreens and hard crashes that make my BIOS reset): it worked only in the beginning. Either a BIOS or Aura update broke it so hard, I could not fix it and I've tried every possible solution except reinstalling Windows 10 (not worth it). Crashes instantly upon starting... I wasted so much time, I've given up on Asus software except drivers. I never encountered worse software in my life!

Sorry if this does not help in any way, I just needed to vent.

I'm using the latest BIOS with a 3900X and my PC shutdown instead of restarting (after clicking restart on windows).

Oddly enough is not happening anymore, no idea why since I didn't move anything on my bios... and no windows update, I tried a fresh Windows install and the issue was still there.

    1) It never happened before this bios

    2) It never happened when I was using my 2600X

PS: I do think it has to do with the RAM but I'm not sure.

    Bus Clock

Hey - so I cannot get my bus clock to be 100. It is always on 99.8 - is there anything manual that I should be doing? Currently only XMP enabled.
