Striker Extreme maximum memory size

What is the maximum amount of non-ECC DDR2 SDRAM that can be successfully run in the four DIMM slots. There are larger sticks available now than when the Striker Extreme mobo was manufactured. For instance: Crucial CT2KIT51264AA667 4GB 667MHz (PC2 5300) Non-ECC 1.8V, unbuffered 240-pin.
Would 4 of these sticks work, assuming Windows 7 64-bit? Assume no overclocking or other tweeks.

The old spec page says 8GB:

Even though newer sticks might very well work, there's the issue of compatibility as the BIOS won't have been updated to specifically support the more recent chips and capacities. If you can't bring the board to a local retailer to test, at minimal cost you could try buying 1 4GB stick first, seeing how compatible it is and then going from there.
