C8H 2700x M.2 Behaviour

Hi,

I just got my C8H and installed my 2700x while I'm waiting on my 3900x to arrive. I noticed that the M.2_1 did not work when I slotted my nvme ssd in it. It works fine in the M.2_2 slots. Is this behaviour expected for Zen+, is their a bios option I am not realizing that needs to be set or do I need to RMA my board before my R9 arrives ? The Manual does not clearly state what the behaviour of the slots is, or the recommended configurations.

If your NVME SSD is Gen 4 then it will only at Gen 3 in M.2_1.However, it will run at Gen 4 in M.2_2. Please check these attachments and your manual your manual for verification.https://rog.asus.com/forum/attachttp...&thumb=1&stc=1
