For the ROG CROSSHAIR VII HERO x470 m/b I want the Gskill TridentZ RGB memory. On the QVL I dont see it listed. I see G.Skill F4-3200C14D-16GTZR but that doesnt have the X which indicates its not for my Ryzen 2700x cpu.
I've been to the G.skill websites and their QVL says F4-3200C16D-16GTZRX, that isn't on the QVL, will work on the Hero VII x470 m/b.
Can anyone get me a definitive answer? I've already chatted with Asus online help service and of course all they could do was give me the QVL's, which as I stated, is saying the RAM modules that dont have the x in the module name will work BUT G.Skill is saying they sell RGB RAM for the Hero 7 x470 with the "X" in the module name.
