Hi Inqonrol87,
When you say forcing the install of the 1902 BIOS I assume you mean using the BIOS Flashback feature? If you have cleared the CMOS after updating the BIOS but are still having issues and you can’t revert to the older BIOS I would suggest an RMA for the board. I'm suggesting this since you seemed to have tried everything else.
It’s a really nice system you have and shouldn’t be let down by the motherboard being so inconsistent.
Your experience with the board is really making me think twice about updating my Ranpage VI Apex to the new BIOS.
What I meant by gathering more information on my side was trying to find out what vulnerabilities the BIOS fixes (separate to those of the ME Firmware). If I can mitigate them by another means other than updating the BIOS, I will.
I also want to further stability test my system (CPU and RAM) on the current 1401 BIOS. It passed 100% but that was on BIOS 1301. While they’re hasn’t been any issues with 1401; if I detect any issues I won’t be upgrading further.
Thank you.

I'm on the Rampage VI Extreme and both the 17XX and 19XX builds have completely destroyed any stability running the preset overclocking settings.
15XX builds were stable I am going to have to go back and flash to that I guess, quite annoyed that they've got this wrong across two separate builds.
Has anyone reached out and got a case going with one of their engineers?
I have the Strix motherboard as well and that seems stable (So far) so it looks like these builds are only affecting the Rampage VI Extreme boards.
Thanks

with the Core i9 79xxX the bios 1503 is the last good bios. Just update the ME firmware to the latest version. According to my experience.

Hi,
Put 1902 on bios 2 and it seems okay on apex
1705 on bios 1 also seems fine.

Hi cekeu , G75rog , ThrashZone and Raven41,
Thanks for you confirmation that the stability of BIOS versions beyond 1503 for the VI Apex is not perfect (although 1704 looks good). I'll stay with my 1401 BIOS.
Sorry for responding to an older thread.
