Do you have to remove the heatsink or just don't use this screw hole?

You are asking how do you re-attached the heatsink with that particular screw.. I had the same issues took for ages n ages.. then I got it..Then I was working on the DIMM .2 and realised there is a much easier way... But I can't really remember now.. Maybe it was to secure the M.2 Drive in place with some double sided sticky stuff.. heat spreader stuff and it keeps its position much easier...

The easiest way is just dont use that hole, not a big deal.

Seems the manual says not to, why bother adding a hole they could of saved 50c on the gold plating.

Hi,
With the long vrm heat sink all it needs is the cases stand off to straighten the top of the board look down the top of the board see if it's straight
Pressure would push the board back the stand off and screws on each end would straighten it out likely if it were not straight.

I returned one no win-7 drivers.
