Hmm, i just got my idle vcore to behave normal by closing all programs (steam, nvidia, razer) and killing the lightning service that seems to handle RGB color cycle effects and was using 2% CPU. Vcore is now 0.79-0.92v when the cores are at 2.2Ghz with normal spikes to 1.45-1.50v when PBO is boosting.
So C7H on 2602 only DOCP set to 3200 CL16, 2700x, windows balanced power plan.

EDIT: removed AURA program, now only have static red lightning and no lightningservice.exe, vcore is now back to normal, idling below 0.9v, boosting to 1.45-1.5, like on the previous Gigabyte.

This version fixes my cold boot issues.

    Some notes from 2602 (3900x, CH7)

I have a flickering code d3 when I run RM. Didn't do that before! Stops flickering when I exit. I've only ever seen this code when a UEFI is flashing. Not everyone has this problem. Should we worry? It happens EVERY time I run RM.

Previous ram OC crashes Win 10. Blue screens or re-boots. I tried reverting to just primary and secondary timings, but it's still not stable with the bios setting tertiary timings. It is a bit more stable.

Memory training does work, though sometimes a reboot will mean training happening again. Pressing reset button from Win desktop often results in n instant code 0d. Pressing it again get me a proper hard reset - with training again.

Boost isn't going higher than 4275. RM is showing SoC as 1.1 and VDDG as 1.148v! CLDO_VDDP is 1.0979 so that needs sorting out like 2501. Over night I did see that it had boosted 2 cores to 4.5GHz while the machine was doing nothing but idling at the desktop.

ProcODT now defaults to 40Ohms, used to be 60Ohms

Have had code 07 several times - usually when trying for 3800/1900 mem speed. Safeboot does now work well though by holding down power button until power off. Turn straight back on for safe boot. No removing batteries or anything else required!

PE modes are there, but I have no idea how to use them. Tried PE3, only difference I saw was that it raise the TDC tp 4096 amps! EDC was lowered to 125 amps. It did nothing noticeable.

With limited testing, I still can't attain 3800MTs/1900MHz. Trying to work out if it's a ram limitation or just losing out on the silicon lottery for my IO die.

Cold/hard resets cause mem training to happen again almost all the time.

    Hope these notes are useful.

I've never seen the POST process cycle so many times in my life but I don't care. SHE LIVES!

Do we know what the issue was?

Edit: She steps down, windows just doesn't report it well yet. Voltage seems a bit high which is leading to idle temps on AIO water of about 60C which seems high though.

Just click download and then direct download, don't click on the filename once you click on the link in this thread.
