Good evening guys,
I just upgraded my 1700X to a 3800X and updated bios to last version 7704.
Got stable overclock at 4.4GHZ 1.28V and 3200@3466 1.38V Usmus Safe Profile
My max temps are 80, is it normal for zen 2?
I've 2 problems that I didn't have before.
1. It takes 2-3 boot cycles to successfully boot and while doing those 2 or 3 cycles the GPU fans are running 100%. When it boots, they go back to 0%
2. I see the Q-Code showing 0C or OC in Windows but no issues at all.
Anyone had these problems?
Thank you!

Yeah a lot of us have been using it since the 27th, it took them a while to update that page. Basically stock performance is a little worse, but with PBO enabled and UV of 0.05-0.1v, it gains a lot in Cinebench and 3Dmark CPU score, but loses some single core (with my 3700x, without UV 2 cores reach 4400, with UV no cores do).
There is a thread a little lower about some problems with USB sound cards.
Can't compare to 2901 because i skipped it.

I am concerned as well. For the Strix X370 F Gaming, and the other X370 Boards (not mentioning the B350 Boards like B350 Plus) still nothing, while every B450 and X470 has received the new Update.
Is Asus now dropping Support for B350/X370?

BIOS 7704 FINALLY fixed my crazy temps for my C6H, I used to get + 85c CB20/Realbench stresstests at stock 3700x/280mm AIO cooler, 95c at Prime95 at stock 3700X. Now it's in the 72-75c range, right where my Ryzen 1700 OC'd was at. Prime 95 maxxes at 85c with 7704.
It took 6 months before this was fixed, not a peep from ASUS acknowledging the issue. >
Still, I'm happy it's fixed, plus I'm happy that I trusted my gut feeling that it was the BIOS in the end.
