Did you power down after swapping to the non beta drivers? the registers are occasionally held across poweron resets and only a full power down will work.

For example, when Linux boots it often puts the hardware registers into a state that persists when you restart and boot into windows, only a power off resolves it.

Just to be clear, you shut the system down fully and powered back up from the power off state, because you are saying Reboot and that to me is power-on reset.

nvm, uninstalled the chipset drivers again and went as pulling the plug and clicking "on" to turn on the computer to clear out everything, and the instructions turned green again without the chipset drivers and with the official chipset drivers.

Like i said, When Linux sets some registers, it persists across reboots, i figured this would be the same.

Though its usually not CPU registers, but ones set by WIFI drivers!

I think I found a bug in 7201 (hero VI wifi). I can not reproduce as I am not able to revert the issue even with cmos clear and bios flashback. ( I did not try other bios, too afraid for the RAID).I updated Bios to 7201 and raid (CTRL+R) boot screen was still working on new 3800x, I tried to change post screen duration from 5 second to 3, then the RAID screen disappeared and not showing during boot even though it is still working in windows, I can get RAID xpert to work in BIOS. I did not leave an option not tried with the boot options, FCH options, post durations, and the SATA options (disabling everything about raid and re-enabling). RAID works but that screen is just gone

Production drivers are available now, these include a better tuned Ryzen balanced profile

@Shamino Will we get beta BIOS with ABB from you? I'm especially interested in BIOS for X470 Prime Pro.

+1 to this. Already asked in this thread but didn't get answer. @Shamino give us something to play with! Pretty please?

At this point AMD stance on power management is a joke for their zen2.

Our solution is to adjust the AMD Ryzen Balanced power plan to address these cases under light loads, without changing the processor’s ability to respond to sustained workloads like games and content creation.
With the new Ryzen Balanced Profile, my r5 3600 now jumps between at 3600Mhz @1.119v min and 42000Mhz @1.1~.1.3ish v for workload as little as 1% load..

The latest bios for the taichi x570 + the latest chipset driver have working RDRAND and RDSEED, so looks like it is automatically disabled when paired together.
