ProcODT is REALLY important - it's the difference between code C5 and booting.

Ryzen 3000 uses much lower ODT than we are used to and should be in the 30 to 40ohm range. For one of my fastest profiles it just didn't boot until I lowered ODT then it booted. Bios had been setting it at 60, I needed it at 30 to boot. (this is on 2501 CH7)

I'm getting C5 on cold boot with my C7H+3600 even on DOCP 3200 CL14 ram (and manual setting with values from DOCP), it's not the bad OC C5 that happens immediately, so this must be a BIOS bug in 2501 and the older one, it seems like it forgets Vboot voltage or sets it back to 1.2v once the board is powered off completely. Will try a couple of ODT settings, already tried voltages of 1.36 but nothing helped so far. But apart from the daily CMOS clear ritual, all is stable and performs well.

Yes but give me 5 different BSODs with 2602 sometimes as early as in windows login screen, so it's worse than 2501 for me. Maybe the next beta one will be better, or at least the next official one.

Make sure that you do not have M.2 nvme drive in socket closest to CPU, it forces to PCIe x16_1 from 16x mode to 8x, so that it can take 4x lines to itself (leaving remaining 4x to PCIe x16_2.

Thanks for this. I never realized my 2080 was running in x8 mode. I was assuming the M2.2 affected the 2nd Pcix8 lane only. Sadly im now stuck with an extra m2 since i got 2.

sometimes nvme ssd doesn't get recognized after boot (with latest beta bios)

reboot fixes it but I think it's bios issue. c6h wifi

I once had my 1080ti running at x8 by accident. Changing back to x16 made 0 difference. So you may aswell use both m2 drives

I wouldn't worry about it, even with more powerful hardware like the 2080ti it doesn't really make a difference until you drop to x4.

So this isn't a bios problem it is the fact I have two nvme drives installed?
Also, does x570 have this problem?
And you are right, I removed the top drive that just has games on it and was no difference at all.
