So I have flashed the latest bios and set my ram up as 3600C14 etc, I will share my results as well as bios settings as I have a couple of questions. Overall performance has increased and boost is no longer twitchy or gets stuck etc when running games. I have seen a slight performance degradation in level 3 cache write and copy but the rest improved.

My results, cpuZ is the only one that fluctuates, single core is between 545 and 550:

Now, I have seen upto 4.55Ghz using HWinfo64 but still I have noticed that when running single core benchmarks that the core being used does not go above 4.45Ghz, I would love to get every drop of performance out of this chip, here are some of my bios settings, I would appreciate it if someone could have a look and see if there is anything I can do to bump the single core performance up, I want go get single core loads using as close to 4.6Ghz as possible, thanks.

My cooling is not an issue, I have a massive thermaltake core x9 with an absurd amount of airflow and a 420mm watercoling setup so throttling isn't an issue.

The 0075 BIOS is more unstable than the 0002 modified BIOS in 3700x with 5700xt.

When making compatible biographies for the 3000 series, you broke the ram stability of the first series of processors. 7403, cold boot with bios is back.

    Still Error 8 whenever I boot normally, restart or hibernate. 3600 + X370 Hero + Ballistix 3200mhz

PC boots through the safe mode button without problems, but it means that I cannot load any overclocks so the RAM is running 2400mhz. CPU was boosting nicely on previous BIOS'es, this one might have added an extra percent and lowered the cpu temp by a degree, but it was always 4.1+Ghz all core, 4.2Ghz single core.

No amount of settings help, but it has to be the BIOS issue where something is not providing enough voltage for CPU/RAM components... PSU, storage, memory, GPU , wires all swapped, only CPU and Mobo were never replaced for testing.

    Any assistance?

Hey! To anybody at Asus listening:

The Fan Smoothing option in the BIOS DOES NOT WORK. Just flat out. It does nothing. This is on the Crosshair VI Hero. It used to work, but hasn't worked in months, throughout various BIOS versions. How has this not been fixed yet?
