Bad bios on B450-F and R5 3600. Voltage has increased from 1.35 to 1.43 for light loads so now web browsing is hitting 60c. When I restart the PC it turns off and back on. Going to roll back.

Haven't you considered the possibility that it might be an AMD/AGESA thing, instead of ASUS?

I don't think these will be official, as they perform worse than 2501. Boost doesn't work, it's handicapped. With 2501 I got 4400MHz as advertised, now max is 4275MHz.

Also vcore scaling doesn't work with any of the Ryzen power plans, it's stuck at 1.48-1.5V. Didn't happen with 2501. Using Windows balanced vcore moves as it should.

There is a performance regression, it's not as fast as 2501. Memory works the same though.

Only positive thing to say is menus are more tidy, in all other respects 2501 is better.

Well 2602 for the CH7 was the worst UEFI version for me yet, after activating PBO and sticking to the same settings as with 2501, I'm not getting boost frequencies anymore, and in IDLE I'm stuck at 4367 MHz as a constant. Sometimes it drops to 3474 but just for a second on a core or two. This is with the Ryzen Balanced profile running no programs in the background.

I went from a good boost and IDLE but a buggy bios to no boost and no idle but a non buggy bios

Thanks again for posting a Bios with 1.0.0.3AB.

I reverted back to 2501, CPU sitting all the time at 3600Mhz, no idle lower clock/frequency, whatsoever, is way too high for me, C states or not. Now I get why Asus was so reluctant to post a bios with 1.0.0.3AB.
AMD should hire better engineers instead of hiring high profile marketing people.

Definetely worse, at least with current settings, we may have missed some setting in the bios.

Another difference is, Ryzen Master now works with Ryzen 3000. It didn't in 2501(just a message, no driver loaded).
