have some G.skill trident Z Neo (F4-3600C16D-32GTZNC) that's working fine with bios 2602.

DOCP enabled -0.125v on vcore booted right up and seems stable.

reset all bios settings manually (something i just always do when there's a agesa jump or the notes mention some settings moving or changing)

my kit is SK hynix MBR based (it has relatively loose timings with 16-19-19-39 i've tried tweaking it but ryzen memory calculator doesn't support hynix MBR above 3466 and even then it's responded to any tightening with not posting anymore requiring me to clear c-mos)

Guys I'm a bit confused. There are no v2602. Only 2408. Has it been removed?

Secondly Is there a new version of chipset driver after 19.30.28 or asus doesn't update them?

Glad to hear you have made progress!

If you are using Latencymon to obtain that information, it should point to offending drivers or processes that are responsible and you can potentially address them. The Latencymon help system/Web page has more explanations and info that can be of help or explain things.

As a side note, I've been running 2602 for a few days now and things have thus far been rock solid.

Looks like they pulled it...just like they did with 2407. I wonder what's up with that and sure would be nice if they posted explanation so those of us already with 2602 can be aware if any serious issues.

You can get the latest chipset drivers from AMD themselves as Asus tends to not keep their driver listings and downloads up to date.

ASUS chipset driver ~ 464 MB while AMD ~ 50 MB? Why is there such a big difference?

I have no idea why Asus would pull 2602 without any explanation. I am running fine with it for a few days now but perhaps they have received many complaints from other users. I bet that we will see another BIOS version very soon. I got used to updating my BIOS almost every week now. Not sure whether the regular updates should keep me satisfied or annoyed because, on one hand, updates are supposed to bring performance and stability improvements, but, on the other hand, any BIOS update is a risky business.

Was running 2602 OK for a few days and today Boot gave me A2 error, would not load into bios, stuck on Logo screen.
Clear CMOS and Bios flashback to 2408= good to go.

That's because ASUS bundles other software beyond just the AMD chipset drivers into their "Chipset driver" release. It's often a couple of months (or more) behind the current version. Best bet is to keep an eye on AMD's website and grab the latest drivers from them directly.

ASUS definitely removed v2602. I've been running fine (so far) on that BIOS but am concerned it may flake out based on what others are saying.
