    My problem has been solved

    Hi. Thanks!!
I had reboots (only in iddle) with bios 2802, 2812 and 2816, but only with ram/fclk 3600/1800Mhz.
The iddle reboots dissapeared if i lowered ram/fclk 3200/1600Mhz
Idle reboots disappeared if I try only 2 sticks, or only the another 2

    I had Vsoc to 1.1v
Yesterday I tried Vddg iod 950mv , Vddg ccd 900 and C-states disabled, and i have no more reboots at iddle with ram 3600!

    *Cpu Soc Voltage 1.1v
    *Vddg iod 950v
    *Vddg ccd 900v

I didnt want to go back older versions because 2802> has better performance and thermal result.
And this settings totaly safe and stable. No restart anymore.

I give up on such tries 3800/1900, my best 3733/1866 1.35V 16-16-16-30, because my mobo don't wont post or reset @1900 FCLK anymore and need to clear CMOS or I personally do USB BIOS restore, because CMOS battery is bellow my VGA It's really bad design from ASUS that this expensive board miss clear CMOS button at back. Next time will go for Asrock Taichi it has everything that you can expect from high-end board, but in midrange price . I go for X570-E, because Taichi wasn't available in store and for me is downgarde of futures, compared to my old x470 Taichi. I want x570 for RAID NVME :/

And for the first time I see BIOS to do RESETS of PC on wide different hardware, as current situation with 28xx.

This on stock 3600 mhz or boost 4300?
My pc has random reboot issue on stock 3600 mhz, without core perfomance boost.

Does anybody knows when there will be a new bios for this motherboard Asus ROG Strix X570-E Gaming.
The latest one is dated 2019-07-05, an there is nothing about which AGESA its using.
there are more bios updates available bud you need to download them on the asus site and not true armoury crate.

Any impressions from the new BIOS? Looks like a major update to me given that the first digit in the version has been incremented.

I wonder what are the new CPUs supported as the release notes claim to do.

Also, if I am not with one of those new AMD RX 6800 cards, will I see any benefit from the "ReSize BAR shortcut for AMD SAM support"? nVidia say that they will release drivers with ReSize BAR support for their video cards soon but I wonder whether it will require a BIOS update and whether this feature will work on AMD Mobos + nVidia cards combinations at all.

I hope random shutdowns and resets on idle gone.

    Hasn't anybody tested 3001 yet?
I am running with a new CPU (5900X) since a couple of hours ago with BIOS 2816 and I am wondering whether to switch to a new BIOS or wait for a feedback.

Btw, my impressions from the new CPU, compared with my old 3700X, are still mixed. Performance when all 12 cores are loaded is impressive but most of the time it stays idle at 3.1 GHz (isn't 3.7 GHz supposed to be the minimal clock?) and I have seen it reach 4.6 GHz for a fraction of a second. Temperatures seem fine to me. But with PBO enabled my score in Cinebench R20 dropped suddenly. Not sure if it is because of the beta BIOS or I am doing something wrong.

Update: OK, it seems that I figured out what caused this massive drop with PBO enabled. It seems that the culprit is that exclusive feature "PBO Fmax Enhancer" which claims to benefit the single-threaded performance. However, it seems to affect also in my case the multi-core performance. Here are my results in Cinebench R20: PBO on + FMax Enhancer on --> 7550 points; PBO on + FMax Enhancer off--> 8421 points. I was able to reproduce these results several times. I didn't notice such difference while I was with 3700X. It might be related to the beta BIOS and the new CPU but one way to verify it is when I update to 3001 in the next few days.

I've updated to v3001. So far no issues. I don't go crazy with overclocking so I can't comment on improved stability for those who are pushing the envelope more so than I do. I basically flip on DOCP, adjust fan speeds, save the profile and move on.
