same problem
Have reinstalled OS and still having the same problem the aura for graphics card works fine aura for all the rest of it gives me the same error. Asus needs to put out a full system clear for the item and not aura cleaner its not fixing the problem a full OS install for most people at some point is not an option and paying for hardware that has to software support it paying for half a product at this point im very disapointed with the software for 90% of the asus products i have purched.
And whats with tthe sight making me say im not a robot every 2 min it makes it impossible to reply in detail will call tech support

Same problem here. LiveDash used to work. It doesn't anymore. Armoury Crate used to work. It doesn't anymore. And for the grand finale (drum roll please): Aura doesn't work either. Summary: Nothing works to control the fancy lighting and LEDs.
Relevant hardware: Rampage VI Extreme Omega. Ryujin 360.
But, hmm... Maybe I will try this.

Okay, here is the latest. As recommended above, I simply did these two things, first:
"I went to C:\Program Files (x86)\LightingService after uninstalling the lighting service component and found a 3kb file called LastProfile.xml. I deleted it. I then went to the registry to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\ControlSet001\Services\ and deleted the LightingService subdirectory."
Then I once again installed Aura and bam... I now have lighting control. But no LED control, sigh. But it is a definite step in the right direction.
Three cheers for the post.

I guess all of you must have super great luck. Or on an older platform or different platform. Mine hasn't worked since the first windows update. I'm riding the Rainbow RGB Train for a long time now.

Yes, I have tried everything multiple times. It seems AMD current gen is broken. Intel's side and older chipsets seem to be pretty good at working. It is kinda disappointing when you buy something new and it is broken out of the box.
I'm always greeted with the Aura service is currently not available. It is what it is though.Last edited by KILLER_K; 11-16-2019 at 01:07 PM.

None of the steps mentioned here work. Even fully uninstalling and manually deleting every trace of AURA does not work.
