Anyone else encountering this?

I'm on bios version 2501, but it's been happening with prior bios' as well.

When I cold boot (not reset) the system is stable. When I put the system to sleep then later resume, the system becomes unstable (memory-wise, I think) and eventually crashes. If I reboot the system remains unstable. I have to completely power off and cold boot for the system to become stable.

My setup is as follows:
Asus Crosshair VII Hero (wifi)
AMD Ryzen 7 2700x
16GB CL16 G.Skill memory rated for 3466mhz and running at 3466 mhz using 1.35v.
500 gb SSD
2tb (rai0 1gb +1gb) HDD
nVidia gtx 1080ti
CPU and GPU AiO's.
Memory cooler
EVGA 850 watt gold PS.
