Crazy issues with my R6E Omega

I get blue screens trying to install windows (1809) unless i disable my wireless onboard adapater in the bios. I assume its a driver bug.

I can not for the life of my get bluetooth to work. When trying to troubleshoot it says this device (my PC) does not have bluetooth.

Bluetooth is enabled in the bios.

I have tried multiple different versions of the bios (on latest currently)

Stupid question but did you download and install the latest version of the driver? Windows drivers dont always work and are often not as good as what the mobo manufacturer and one further the actual chip manufacturer. BT and having other USB devices plugged in or even enabled in are top contenders for the title of most problems during installs.

Have you tried downloading 1903 media tool and moving to latest release?

My brain may not be on the correct timeline but I think the board came after 1809.

If all else fails dont waste too much time as the warranty clock is ticking.....

My bet is it can be easily fixed with software and/or drivers.

Just install the latest drivers for Lan WiFi and Bluetooth (the most problematic are Aquantia and Intel WiFi) components during the Win10 1809 (or latest) installation. U have the option in Win10 setup (load drivers). Latest drivers:

I have installed the newest drivers.

The bluetooth device does not even show up in device manager.

Wifi seems to work fine though.

U should open RMA to check that BT WiFi module, maybe defective...

This issue is pretty common even on other boards using the same Wifi, you need to disable it then install the drivers then turn it back on, or like me just turned it off and left it off.

What do you mean disable it? I can't even find a way to enable it.

The Bluetooth hardware, if I recall correctly is courtesy of Intel, is it not? Hence, I'd install and run Intel's driver support assistant. I run it every day at startup and it actually works trouble free, in contrast to you know what. Anyhow, here is a link: https://downloadcenter.intel.com/dow...port-Assistant

Hopefully that helps. It helped me when I had problems with my R6EO. Good luck!
