Acer Predator XB273K switch down to 82hz suddenly

Sometimes my Monitor switch from 120hz to 82hz, i cant figure out when this happens, it suddenly occurs.
After this issue, in Nvidia control panel the maximum refresh rate is 82hz and i cant get above.
A restart or switching arround the resolutions in nvidia panel solves the problem for a while.
It never happens on a gaming session, only when im on desktop .
I tried several Cabels of 3meter.
Is it the length of the cables or have i a faulty monitor?!

That happens about once a day

can you test 2 things. 1. disable gsync and test. and call Acer and ask if they have a rom update on the monitor. I remember a case just like that on the 27inch ips 1440p models that has a similar issue.

Also test the feature to 144hz. just add another dp cable and restart and check is these happens also. With gsync and with out it!

Ok, i am testing now without gsync......with my 3m cable, see what happens.
Tomorrow i get another certified dp cable of 2m, and test it again if the first test sucks.

i try to contact acer and tell them about this issue.

Edit: After around 10 hours without gsync, the same issue.
Later i will test a 2m Cable and see what happens.

Now the Monitor has shut down completely, no Standby LED.
Only disconnect and reconnect the power cable brings the Monitor back.
Can it be a faulty psu or is the monitor bad?!
